Once great warriors in the land of Bonespittle, trolls were enslaved, and from birth told terrible stories about enchanted creatures who live across the Great Chasm. Rollo, a young troll who's heard the tales, is surprised when Bonespittle's ruler recruits trolls to construct a bridge to span the Chasm. When Rollo signs on for the task, he finds himself thrust into a revolution of fantastical proportions.
