Das Buch hat mir gut gefallen. Es enthält Ausschnitte aus allen wichtigen Werken Tolkiens und außerdem viele seiner Briefe. Am interessantesten fand ich seinen Verriss eines Filmmanuskripts zum "Herrn der Ringe". Aber auch seine Erklärungen zu seiner erfundenen Mythologie (mit Fragen von Dritten dazu hat er sich offenbar sehr intensiv und ernsthaft auseinander gesetzt) waren lesenswert.
