Thanks for this book :-) I look forward to reading it. I have a number of other books I MUST read first so it might take a while but it will be happily resting here in Keith and enjoying it's country visit until that day comes! Thanks again!
A Lovely book that outlines some of the history of Kashmir through the eyes of the author who grew up there. Her love for her country is quite evident and her portryal of the harmony between all religious groups are in stark contrast to her sadness over the 'recent' fighting between Hindu and Muslims, India and Pakistan. This book gives further insight into this sad chapter of Kashmir's history and is worth reading.
Thanks for sharing this book - I'll now be on the look out for it's next owner!
