I bought this one last year from a bookshop in Rangiora, which is just north of Christchurch. It was a tad slow for me and I gave up on it fairly early on, so I'm sending the wee fella back to it's homeland for Libragirl to enjoy!

I agree that this book took a while to get into but I did finish it. An interesting ending, however I had hoped for some definitive answers to the questions that were raised in respect of what happened to Maisie that summer of 1967.. unfortunately we are still left guessing to a certain extent.
