It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Artemis Fowl
3 journalers for this copy...
Artemis Fowl is a fantasy book about a 12-year-old criminal mastermind who kidnaps a fairy for his own machinations. The book was somewhat popular when published about five years ago, a poor man's Harry Potter.
Unfortunately the story doesn't have the edge that would raise the book above mildly entertaining. I don't know what it's missing exactly, but the book could use "something" more. I'm not saying it's not a good book. I just don't think it would give anything new if read for a second time.
There's a string of symbols running through the book on the bottom of the pages. They actually form a meaning if you decipher the code. Nice detail!
