This is one book in a series of Wishbone Mysteries. And as usual with 'series' books, i dont think it's well written. It doesn't have much of an element of 'mystery' to it, & the characters are cliched & predictable. The only thing stopping me from giving it a negative rating though (if it were possible to have negative ratings) is the fact that Wishbone is so adorable - or i imagine he's adorable - he's got to be, he's a Jack Russell! And i have a thing for Jack Russells. He reminds me A LOT of Sally, & i suppose what he thinks about (food & fame) is what Sally thinks about all the time. Like Wishbone, Sally also has stage fright :) I'm trying very hard to think if i would have enjoyed this book when i was a kid. I would probably have read it just because i read almost anything, but no i dont think i would have found it terribly interesting.
