It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

I bought this at a library sale as a Halloween give-away. Oh sure, I'll have candy, too, but there will be a box of books for all ages.

Nov 1, 2002--No one chose this book, so I'll put it into my box to release later.

I gave this book to a young man who was sitting at the soda fountain.

I found this book because the person who left it sent me a message telling me to look for it--there aren't many BookCrossers in my little town so she wanted to make sure it got found. So I went to the Lost & Found at the Julian Drug Store and sure enough, there it was. I guess the young man she gave it to wasn't into it. Kids these days.

I actually did read this book since I was bored that day, and was surprised to find the Hardy Boys pretty much the same as they were when I was a kid reading the original ones that my dad had.
A few changes--Frank is still dating Callie Shaw, but Joe's girlfriend (Iona?) has been replaced by some computer whiz girl; they keep after Chet to lose weight though he says it's a genetic predisposition; they hang out at the mall instead of the diner or soda shop, etc.
All in all, not bad for an hour with nothing to do.
