I work in a library and bought this book of essays by Kingsolver at our annual booksale for fifty cents. It's a beautiful hardback book just published in 2002 and all of the essays are thoughtful and very relevant to current events. It's a little bit of philosophy, a little bit autobiography and a little bit history and politics -- so I marked it nonfiction. I hope someone finds this and enjoys it. The essays are the perfect length to read on the bus or in the waiting room.
