Grief-stricken at the recent loss of her own baby, would-be actress Anna becomes embroiled in a double-life drama when she discovers that her bone-marrow donation has saved a young boy’s life. Anna becomes desperate to meet this child after his dad, Adam, writes to thank her for her amazing life-saving deed. Soon she’s lying to her music biz husband when she and Adam – also married – embark on a steamy affair. But is it really Adam or little Max she’s infatuated with? When Anna manages to dupe both men in her life – who know nothing of the other – that she’s starring in a West Country soap, things get a little difficult to say the least.

I really enjoyed this - another book I'm loathed to part with except that I've run out of room on my book shelves. I couldn't put it down towards the end - a real pageturner.
