From a friend's decluttering.

The back of the book has this to say (all typos mine):

'I suppose I should be glad I'm alive. And I am. Very.'

Miranda is a normal fifteen-year-old girl. She loves playing netball (even though she's not much good at it), going out with her boyfriend, and seeing her friends.

Suddenly she becomes too tired to do anything - too tired even to get out of bed.

And the doctor's news isn't good.

Miranda's Story is a warm, moving account of her struggle with a potentially fatal illness.
