One hot summer night in the house of the Mississippi Delta's richest cotton-planter, a family imprisoned by the past is torn apart by the revelations of lust, greed and envy.
The milk train doesn't stop here anymore:
Mrs Gosforth, an ageing American actress, dictates her memoirs in a luxurious Mediterranean retreat, aware that she is running out of time.
The night of the Iguana:
Set in an isolated Mexican hotel in 1940. A grop of very different people are brought together by chance. They include a tough hotel proprietor, a defrocked clergyman, a middle-aged spinster who is weary of travelling the world with her poet grandfather, and a family of jubilant Nazis.
3 classic plays, wonderfully written.
