By the authors of the Nanny Diaries... it is the story of a 24 year old recent college grad who gets fired from her first job with a women's center where the boss steals her idea for a conference. She finally lands the job of her dreams, even if she is not sure what her duties will be! She wades through monthes of uncertainty about exactly what her new boss expects, all the while racking up promotions and pay raises. This book does not flow very well which I think is the result of two authors. I was interested enough to stick with the story, but I won't give it much praise. It bothered me that the title character never has a name... she is just called "Girl." I have the impression that if you like the Nanny Diaries that you'll like this one.
