This is my first bookcrossing catch. I purposely hunted for a location near me where I might find a book that was released and woohoo - several bookcrossing books were there!
I am so excited to read this and then release it again somewhere else! I have plans to take it to Rehoboth Beach next week. And if I am finished I will release it there!

P.S. Gina at the ACAC was so very nice! It was great to meet another BC member and visit her OBCZ!

Well I am completely surprised that this book has a quote from Stephen King on the cover saying" This terrifying and original novel marks the debut of a writer who is able to bring dynamite in both hands." and on the inside remarks it is "cause for rejoicing". Perhaps Mr. King KNOWS Mr. Rex Miller because I couldn't get past all of the run-on sentences. This book is peppered with them!
For example, on page 270 one run-on sentence took up 42 lines across two pages!! Another one I counted took up 26 lines! I don't think Mr. Miller ever took an English class in his life, or if he did he failed miserably.
As for the storyline, it just did not grab me. A good book for me is one that I can't put down. This was not one of them.
One thing the book did, was encourage me to pick up my pen again and work on the thriller that I started writing years ago. It left me feeling, "I can do much better."
Perhaps someone who is less of a stickler over the writing style may find this book more enjoyable.
