RELEASE NOTES:

I tried to read this on holiday but never got past page 20. I took it to the lighthouse when I was visiting it during my cycling holiday. The lady at the reception was interested in the bookcrossing label so I left the book with her. THe lighthouse is the most amazing place to visit, especially the tour to the top of the tower. The views on a clear day are without doubt some of the best in Scotland. I went there from Mull.

I have spent the last month at Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, volunteering with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust. Myself and the other volunteers have been scanning the sea in search of cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises), of which there is known to be a rich diversity in this part of the UK. I found the book in the lighthouse's cafe and gift shop a couple of days ago. I'm now back home in the Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire borders area of England and I've brought the book with me. I look forward to reading it and helping it on its journey.

An absolutely beautiful book. I've just finished it. I actually enjoyed my commute to work beacause I looked forward to reading this book. I'm now thinking of somewhere suitable to leave it, where I can watch someone else help it on its journey.
