Not the type of book I would usually read - I generally keep well clear of mysteries and thrillers, they give me nightmares I can do without but something drew me to this book.
The Guardian said the author of this book 'has a forensic interest in the messiness of grief, which she itemises with the awful clarity of vision that often accompanies shock'.
I cannot fault either the review or the book - however I for me it was too like many recent news stories - a bit too real for my comfort.
