This was the first James Patterson book I read and the one that got me hooked! I went back and read Along Came A Spider and almost all of his other novels. It's very suspenseful and I love the Alex Cross character!
Quick synopsis:
What's worse than a serial killer on the loose? How about twin serial killers? While Casanova and The Gentleman Caller are not blood brothers, psychologist/detective Alex Cross explains twinning to show how they work together to pull off their grisly crimes. When Cross's niece becomes the latest victim, he uses his research on twinning to catch the killers.

I'm noticing that many books lose their appeal once I've seen the movie and know what to expect. Sadly, this book was one of them....I like Patterson's books, but I just couldn't get into this one because I felt like I was just waiting for events to happen. Put it down after about 100 pages and haven't picked it up again in a while.
Will pass along to another BCer soon!
