Creative concept: ups and downs/ patterns of 3 generations - with descriptions of a timeless dark cavern providing structure and perspective.
I often found the characters more disturbing than likeable.
Someone with Scandinavian or German heritage would esp. appreciate this book, IMO.

Ordered the book from paperbackswap.com It's currently in my TBR pile, which is growing thanks to PBS!
I requested this book from paperbackswap.com after seeing it recommended on another book site. I enjoyed the storyline up until the end. I expected a more dramatic ending, which didn't happen. I felt the book was anti-climatic. I'll be reposting it on PBS.
