The Prometheus Deception

This is the first Robert Ludlum book I've read, I got it after seeing the film The Bourne Identity (based on one of his books). I was pleasantly surprised by the movie and this book did not disappoint either.
It is a top-notch example of the spy-thriller genre with a plot that goes only slightly beyond realism for the most part. The only thing which irritated me was the enormous plot whole created in the final few pages (which I won't reveal since it would spoil the book for anyone who intends to read it). But it was so unnecessary, one twist too many. I guess I wouldn't have been so annoyed if I hadn't enjoyed the rest of the book so much.

Journal Entry 2 by tgabber at Cutty Sark - The Boat in Greenwich, Greater London United Kingdom on Thursday, September 26, 2002
Released on Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Bench opposite the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London (inc. Greater London) United Kingdom.
Pretty much the same bench I released Snow Crash give or take one or two... Early evening, there was an impromptu game of soccer going on in the piazza in front of the Cutty Sark, seemingly organised by some German lads.
