I'm so sorry - I appear to have not journalled this - htough I know a couple I've done just haven't shown up for some reason...

Anyway just read this book last 2 days...was amazing that it ws a novel - I felt like these Cuban women, their husbands, sons, etc, were real people.
Their stories were at times complicated yet always moving. I almost feel like I have met them myself. It was clever also, how subtley the story of Cuba's turbulence was intertwined into the story!

Cuba really is a fasinating country - one day I'll see it myself!
