I spotted this book as I was browsing at Barnes and Noble and just HAD to have it. I have started reading it and I am loving it! I must confess, I too am a heavy metal addict. I can definetly relate and Seb Hunter's observations and thoughts during the metal period are true and hilarious. He tells a kid at school that a particular band sucks and cannot possibly be classified as heavy metal because it has keyboards in it. We are a strange bunch! I am going to go put on my spandex, tease my hair, use plenty of aqua net, and dust off the devil horns as I settle back and return to my reading....
I loved this book! I laughed aloud. Probably because I could have changed the names of the people in the book to names of people that I know or knew "back in the day" they were so similar. It brought me back to the heyday of metal when I didn't have to be a responsible adult. Ah, those were the days.
