It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Alias Grace

This is my favorite Margaret Atwood book in
a while. I liked it better than Oryx and
Crake, but it's totally different also.
My mother read this and liked it well
enough. She's a tough critic! But, if
she hates a book she stops reading it and
she read this to the end so...

Just got this book from RillabeeChime. It looks *quite* good! Margaret Atwood is an excellent writer, and I'm not sure how I missed reading Alias Grace. I'll write more when I'm done reading it.
Thanks, R.C.

Whoops! I (Rainbowbabe) wrote that last entry on RillabeeChime's computer and didn't realize that she was still logged in.
SO, the following entry is really from ME!

I really enjoyed this book! It is very well written and is now one of my favorite Margaret Atwood books as well.
I found myself wishing I were reading this book for a lit. class, because I'd enjoy writing a paper about it (I'm wierd that way :-) There are so many themes to explore: memory, class differences, gender roles, mental health...all kinds of good stuff!
Thanks for loaning this book to me, R.C.

Just wanted to note that Rainbowbabe Jr. read this book. I don't have an extensive review to give for her; she just told me she didn't like the book much. She thought it was too slow and (to be blunt) boring.
However, she did read the whole thing, so it must not have seemed that bad to her!
