. . .when you read, you begin with ABC
when you sing, you begin with do re mi. . .

oh . . . .that was a truly mean thing to do, considering I just got this book in the mail too!

LOL

I can't believe this RABCK! 4 letters of the Sue Grafton alphabet? I'm spoiled rotten! And I *love* that "A" is in here .. .

Thanks, Blue :)

Yes, I do like this book! Yay -- now I have a new series to be addicted to. . . and it should take a while to collect and read them all :)

I liked that this was less twisted and has less descriptively gory parts than Patricia Cornwell. In general, it was intriguing without the "disturbing". This was light but not lite, and interesting to read. I've never been a huge fan of mysteries, but I'm starting to convert, thanks to generous BookCrossers who keep introducing me to new authors. I like this character (Kinsey), I like how she works and thinks, and am already enjoying what I'm reading about her in "B".

I must admit confusion about her saying somewhere early in the book that she doesn't drink much and then she drinks all throughout the rest of it!

I read this on the plane on the way to NY/NJ on a business trip, and now it's going to visit another BookCrosser, who has written journal entries on his other Grafton alphabet books that this is one of his favourite mystery series. He only has the end of the alphabet registered at BC, so I thought he might need A & B! (I was trying to read fast enough to get C to him, too, but that may just end up going back with me on the plane. . . Am looking forward to dinner and meeting thebiblioholic and his family!

Thanks for the initial introduction, Blue! Now I just need to buy a couple vowels (notice E and I are missing so far?)!

Antof9 gave this to me when we met for dinner tonight. I've already read this book, so I plan to use this to introduce someone else to the series.

It was great meeting you!
