This is one of 5 books I received as a RABCK before I had even heard of BookCrossing. :) It was sent to me by a nice man from Colorado Springs, CO on the backpacker.com forums. I had posted a thread asking if anyone would like to exchange books, listing a few authors... Well he just sent them to me, asking nothing in return. I'm thinking that I should do the same. :)


I am reading this now. The descriptions of the Alaska scenery and the wildness of the place has completely captured my attention. His descriptions of the huge salmon, concern about grizzly bears and the power of the Brooks range makes me want to go to Alaska. I think I will pass this book along to one of the guys at work before I RABCK it on Bookcrossing.
