I picked this up at Goodwill, primarily because the New York Times Book Review on the front cover said "Raymond Chandler merges with Gabriel García Márquez." As you can tell by looking at my bookshelf, I'm a big García Márquez fan.

I really enjoyed this one. I could hardly put it down. It's really quirky, with interesting symbolism. A little too private-i'ish for my taste, but still highly recommended.
