Ceci est le 100-ème livre que j'enregistre ! J'ai choisi un de mes livres préférés pour l'occasion et j'essayerai d'en faire un 'bookray' (mon premier) pour qu'autant de personnes que possible le lisent.

This is my 100th registration and I've chosen one of my favorite books to celebrate this event. I'll try and make a bookray (my first!) to make sure as many people as possible read this wonderful story.

I haven't finished the book. It was not too difficult reading in French, although I didn't understand every word, but the story did not appeal to me very much. Thanks for letting me try, Owlet.

ah bon, un p'tit livre en français.
un p'tit conte:
il était une fois une femme qui aimerait travailler (et habiter) en afrique. elle devrait exercer son français, donc elle voudrait lire beaucoup des livres françaises. mais sa voyage à la côte promise était très bref. parce que la langue était une des armes choisies par l'opposition, la femme essayait d'être sage et remployer à l'anglais...

c'est toujours très agréable de lire et relire les aventures du petit prince et son grand ami. j'ai eu plusieurs sourires de nouveau.
et entre-temps j'ai retrouvée un exemplaire (en français) dans ma bibliothèque!

J'ai recu ce petit livre aujourd'hui. Merci à nrrdgrrl et owlet. Je vais le lire aussitot que j'ai fini The Corrections de Jonathan Franzen.

Quelle narration merveilleuse! J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir avec ce petit livre. J'aime aussi les dessins de l'auteur. Je pense à acheter un exemplaire pour moi-meme afin que je pourrai le relire plusieurs temps.

Voici mon secret. Il est très simple: on ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Maintenant Le Petit Prince va en voyage à Wilmar.

Caught (thank you Suzy26)! And, what a coincidence: I'm leaving for France coming sunday, to stay with my father for a week. I'm planning to read the book then, also because at the moment there are a few other books with priority...

When this BookRay came along I decided to join in, and, to write in French. But as you see, I didn't :( I'm very well capable to read and comprehend French, but writing and speaking are something else.
But I solemnly declare that I'm going to read more French books and that I will write my next journal entries in French. Promise!

And now for Le Petit Prince: it was a pleasure to read this book again. I first read it in 1992, but this time I liked it better.
I try to follow the fox's advise and will remember that grownups are very very strange...

Le petit prince came together with the newspaper at 5.40 AM today! So I skipped the newspaper (nothing really new in there anyway!) and started reading.

I had to read this book in school many years ago in German, and now I had decided to give it another try by reading it in French. It was not too difficult, but I am afraid it is just not my kind of book.
