The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Vintage Contemporaries)
4 journalers for this copy...
This book was easily one of my favorite reads last year. I read it as part of this book ring, so you can read my journal entry there. But beware, some of the journalers have written spoilers in their entries.
Since I loved the book so much, I bought my own hardback copy. My friend gave me this copy, and it's too good to keep...I'm going to share it with some of my book club friends and then release it in the wild.

Gave to misscris tonight.
I really enjoyed this...I started it last night and read until my eyes wouldn't stay open, then got up this morning and finished it. It reminded me of "Set This House in Order" in that it gave a first person account of living with a mental illness (in this case autism). While fictional, it seems incredibly real, like you are actually getting a glimpse into the mind of a person who sees the world so much differently. The plot is very engaging, you just have to find out what happens with this boy and his family (and the dog mystery). Would definately recommend this book!
received today. thanks!
reserved for tamster33 after I read it!

I received this book quite a while ago. I've nominated it for one of my book groups so I should be reading it soon. Looking forward to it. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and trying to figure out what was going on from the perspective of the protagonist. I really got the sense of what it's like to be autistic. My book group meets tonight to discuss it. Can't wait!
I've given it to one of my book group members to read, so I don't know if she's going to give it back to me or not before I move, since she's not able to make the meeting tonight(and she's not interested in bookcrossing...go figure). If I don't get it back, I'll just let it go on its serendipitous travels and hope we hear from it again.
