The book arrived today, thanks also for that funny cartoon inside!
Unfortunately I have to read one or two bookrings first as I don't want to get in trouble with the next persons on the list.. :)

"Michael Havelock's world died on a moonlit beach on the Costa Brava. He watched as his partner and lover, Jenna Karas, double agent, was efficiently gunned down by his own agency. There was nothing left for him but to quit the game, get out. Until, in one frantic moment on a crowded railroad platform in Rome, Havelock saw his Jenna - alive. From then on, he was marked for death by both U.S. and Russian assassins, racing around the globe after his beautiful betrayer, trapped in a massive mosaic of treachery created by a top-level mole with the world in his fist - Parsifal." (information from the back of the book)
One of these spy books of the 80s, the bad guys coming - surprise - from the Soviet Union (still remember that country?) You'll read about moles and Parcifal, the super mole. The plot is unbelievable, doesn't seem to be possible, but fortunately there are heroes too, using all their wits and muscles to put an end to the mischief. And fortunately it's not overly US patrioc as the Tom Clancy spy books I have read.
That was thrilling! I have sore eyes :-) couldn't put the book away, had to finish it as fast as possible. And I am definitely going to read more Ludlum books. The Bourne Identiy being already on the way to my letterbox.

If I didn't have so many books waiting to be read I would have liked to try this Ludlum, quite thrilling apparently. But... So I will release it on the Promenade des Anglais today.
