This is part one of a two-volume set of Conan Doyle's entire Holmes ouevre. The most famous detective in any language, Sherlock Holmes was a pet obsession of mine through my freshman year of high school, a time when his cool logic and heroism were a comforting antidote to the inanities of life. Since I own my own copy of the complete works (one volume, hard bound), this battered paperback edition from the exchange is available for trade. If no one cares to take it, I will release it into the wild.
