I generally don't like horror, so perhaps that is why Jekyll and Hyde did not really appeal to me, despite its classic status. The thousands of parodies and adaptations (most of which really miss the point of the original) probably don't help either. This volume also includes Stevenson's deliciously pulpy and melodramatic "The Suicide Club"--which is somwhere in between Dudley Dooright and James Bond.
