Whilst of Tiffany Trott I was a fan, the same cannot be said of this "tomb" - I'm not sure even why I wasted the time and at 448 pages time it certainly took! It could easily have been half the size and undoubtedly some serious pruning would have made this more on the level of TT! Did no-one actually read this before it was published? To say that it drags its feet is the understatement... Agony. Not that it is without humour - because there are moments of sniggery - but oh what a drop in standards - utterly disappointing. To any future reader start at about page 200 you won't have missed anything and you'll save yourself both time and premature abandonment!
