Clayton Hawks returns to Powder Springs, Wyoming, to settle some rustling problems at his father's ranch. Sam Hawks offers Clay the ranch in return for solving the problem. What Clay finds, though, is mismanagement, corruption, and out and out lawlessness. Clay knows the rustling has to be stopped, but he is determined to clean up the ranch in his own way--which can get him killed.
