The Maid
2 journalers for this copy...
It begins like any other day for Molly Gray, silently dusting her way through the luxury rooms at the Regency Grand Hotel.
But when she enters suite 401 and discovers an infamous guest dead in his bed, a very messy mystery begins to unfold. And Molly’s at the heart of it – because if anyone can uncover the secrets beneath the surface, the fingerprints amongst the filth – it’s the maid . . .

I really enjoyed this - so much so that after I left it on the bus by accident I actually went and BOUGHT another copy !!
Told from the perspective of the Maid, a young lady with, I guess, OCD and Aspergers, I felt like it really gets the difficulties of life right for those who are neuro-divergent and I applaud the writer's research. It felt very personal to me. The plot was fairly simple and was actually my least favourite part of the book. Ass a study in characters it was great and I would have just been happy to spend a couple of hours getting to know Molly. The book barrelled along at an easy reading pace but the underlying humour was sophisticated and mature. And about 50 pages before the end I guessed the twist. I was wrong.
I will add Book 2 to my wishlist.
