I finished this in two days, and it would have been sooner if I'd had more time. I didn't want it to end. The characters are so engaging that I wanted to carry on reading about them after the book ended. The story follows the relationships of the Kinsella family, centring on Nadia's dilemma over her long term boyfriend Laurie and gorgeous stranger Jay. There are some hilarious moments, one or two sad ones and some heartstopping ones, as well as a light element of mystery surrounding the past of Miriam, Nadia's glamorous Grandmother. One of my favourite characters was the parrot, Harpo. Often coming out with the funniest lines, I wish there had been more of him in the story.
This is definitely one for the girls though, I can't see many men enjoying it.
