I would like to start with the positive aspects, which I really liked about the book.
These are clearly the characters. All unique, great described and very vivid in my head. This applies not only to the people, but also the animals are described with such attention to detail that I would have loved to cuddle with Mitts.
The story itself had a very strong beginning, which drew me directly into its spell and a strong ending. In between, unfortunately, it had me a bit lost. On the one hand, many things were repeated, which would not have been necessary and dragged the reading a bit. On the other hand, quite exciting scenes were described very emotionless and short, which I found very unfortunate. Possibly it was also because I am not a native speaker and did not know some words.
Overall, it was quite a nice read.
