I have double copies of this book, so letting one travel. When I've read the copy I have I'll try to remember editing this journal with a little review.

Journal Entry 4 by Sakirmo at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland on Monday, March 27, 2023
Glasgow mentioned, so taken from the Stockholm meet-up... If I don't end up reading it, I'm sure someone in Falkirk Convention will!
Journal Entry 5 by Sakirmo at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland on Sunday, April 16, 2023
The book travelled with me to Slovakia, Vienna and back. A pretty good thriller, although I struggled at first to keep up on who's who in it.
Journal Entry 6 by Sakirmo at Arnotdale House OBCZ in Falkirk, Scotland United Kingdom on Sunday, June 11, 2023
Picked up at the Falkirk Convention to read on the train journey home
This was my first Denise Mina novel but it was the 4th in a series so I found a lot of ongoings confusing as I probably didn't know the backstory from the previous books. It certainly was well written and gripping but I constantly felt like I was missing something. Note to self - read them in the right order. I did like the character of Alex Morrow and how she is trying to do her best as a police officer and mother while also dealing with a criminal brother in her own family.
