Disappointing. I simply adored The Notebook and couldn’t wait to read this follow-up. Sadly, The Wedding didn’t even come close to meeting my expectations. It was okay, not great, a little slow with a few too many "look backs," but I was at least half-way enjoying reading it for the most part. Then came the ending. Now while I’m sure many people will love it, I personally hated the ending. In fact, this book lost a couple of stars in the last chapter alone. It definitely wasn’t the worst book I’ve ever read, but it wasn’t nearly as good as I was anticipating. Oh well.

This book actually belongs to my mom--I just happened to get to it first. So, I’ll now be giving it back to her so that she can read it.
