The Gates of the Alamo

This was a pretty interesting book. I'm not originally from Texas so I didn't learn all about the Alamo growing up. So this book was a good way to learn something about it. For the most part I enjoyed it. The author did appear to have a fixation with including sexual encounters in the book. But the story was well told and informative. I was glad to see the author included a description of which characters were fictional since I hadn't heard of some of the more minor characters and I didn't know which were real.
A good read if you want to learn something about the Alamo.

I left the book on the low wall (near the Raspa seller) across the street from the Alamo.
