Addie and her sister are on an epic road trip to a friend's wedding in rural Scotland. But, not long after setting off, a car slams into theirs. The driver is none other than Addie's ex, who she hasn't seen since their traumatic break-up two years earlier.
Dylan and his best mate are heading to the wedding too, so Addie has no choice but to offer them a ride. And with four hundred miles to go, they can't avoid confronting the very messy history of their relationship . . .

Thank you catsalive, this one has been on my wishlist for a while! Can't beat a bit of chick lit now and again. Incidentally it was registered on my birthday! Meant to be. On Mt TBR it goes.
Chick lit is not a genre I read often nowadays and I had never opened a book by Beth O'Leary before this one. It was a fund quick read with all the right ingredients without being too cheesy. There are a few twists and it doesn't take itself seriously. An enjoyable light Summer read, now ready to travel again.
