Terri Windling is best known for her work as an editor of anthologies (almost always along with Ellen Datlow) of fantasy short-stories. This is her first published novel, and it ROCKS. It's a beautifully executed "urban faerie" tale that I've read many times over and always feel refreshed by reading it. I got impatient when my copy got misplaced and bought it again... and here I've found my original copy. It's a great book and I'm delighted to be sending it out into the world.
