The book is now in the very capable hands of a BookCrossing fanatic. I have high hopes for it...

With a little help from the BookCrossing help people, I can register that I have this book! Received from Muzythathi at the end of April, as we finished our travels together, and headed off in different directions...
This book now has some authentic Khmer children art on the inside cover - two little boys who kept us all entertained and served on the Sihanoukville beach. Cute!
My travel companions all read this while we were travelling together, and loved it.

One of the rare success stories out of an experience so horrible, that lives and thrives, to tell. The reason social work is such a rewarding job!! Sometimes!

Amazing survival story. Tina is lucky to have had people to make sure she got back on the right track. Without them, she would have followed April's path, surely. So sad, and yet inspiring story.

I am going to send this back out into the world with another book I am sending to someone.

A nice surprise. It looks like a very interesting read, I'll get to it when I can and will let it travel after I'm done.
Thanks Hawkette.

This book is not some mushy tearjerker, it’s actually well written, witty at times, and a page turner and the good thing about it is that the authors kept it real.
The story of Tina’s adventurous life as a runaway kid/panhandler/criminal is staggering.
The fact that she made it out of there alive is just short of amazing, and it all started as some fun and with her idolization of April.
I’m lacking the words for what I felt while reading this book but I definitely recommend it if you enjoy non fiction and insightful human interest stories.
I’ll get it travelling soon one way or another.

Yes, it's amazing she got out. Perhaps, if April hadn't died, she would still be down there or dead herself.I couldn't really see the attraction of April or understand the level of her obsession with her so I felt a little distanced from Tina and her trials.I am, however, filled with admiration for the people who stuck by her and helped her out. (Hi Hawkette and thanks to kizmiaz-your book is on its way)
