Charity shop find. Haven't read any Christopher Moore in a good while, and this one sounds like a fun romp.
It is very silly. In a lot of places it is also racist, misogynist, and offensive for a lot of reasons. You can read it as a bit of summer popcorn reading ("sorta-kinda"), but be aware that this is what you're getting into.
