I got this hardcover, a book club edition with jacket art by Dean Morrissey, at a local Savers thrift shop. It inspired the classic 1957 film about a man who begins to shrink, with his life falling apart as his symptoms take him from "clothes no longer fit" to "mistaken for a child" to "so small the cat chases him" - and while this might sound a bit silly, the presentation is involving and quite chilling.

I left this book in the Little Free Library; hope someone enjoys it!

I found this book still in the same Little Free Library after several years - and showing signs of damage. I reclaimed it in hopes of being able to patch it up, but it turns out that too many pages were stuck together, torn, and/or faded; looks like water damage, perhaps from a leaky seam inside the LFL - if the book were pressed against it for a long time even a small leak could lead to problems.

So it's the compost heap for the book, which I'll mark as "traveling" to indicate its journey to that great library in the beyond...
