I was going to take this smallish book to the Unconvention on Norfolk Island in October but it is instead travelling to Finland as part of the International Wishlist Tag Game

I liked this a lot - funny bits of author's life, but most of them with kind of sad undertone. Quite honest stories of life, I think.
