It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Possession

Long time since I read this one, but I recall it was a good story, very literary and absorbing.
Handed it over at the Meetup in the Elephant House this evening
Grabbed this at the Edinburgh meet-up, as it says above.
I recently read a couple of A.S. Byatt's novellas (actually, also picked them up at a BookCrossing meet, come to think of it), and enjoyed them. So a full-length novel by her shows some promise. It looks about the right length for the train journey between Edinburgh and London, as well!

I managed to slightly underestimate quite how long this would take to read. It more than lasted me for the 5 hour train journey down to London.
It took a while to get my head round A.S. Byatt's style of writing, but eventually I realised that I'd probably write in the same way - using journals, letters, and so on to show different perspectives. Once I was used to the changing perspectives and forms of writing, I found the story a little easier to follow. And then I was away. Brilliant story (won't say more than that so as not to spoil it!), and I liked the poetry here and there too.
Thanks for the chance to read this SarahSally! I'm taking it along to the meet in Cambridge. - But nobody wanted it (nothing to do with the 3 crates of books that were also there, I'm sure!) so I have brought it back home. (?!)

This is travelling on to AnglersRest, having been swapped for some Bill Bryson. Enjoy!
Thanks kangaroo. I'm looking forward to reading this one.
Sent off to Cass01 as part of The Surprise Book Ring ~ Group 4 (UK) ~ Organised by BunnyLady
received this several weeks ago, thought I'd journaled it upon arrival but just discovered I didn't!! So sorry to those who were waiting to hear! So, I've started it now, hopefully wont take too long to read although am pretty busy with uni work.
Sending to Gembear as part of surprise bookring. I couldn't really get into this i'm afriad although i did try several times, guess its just not my sort of thing. Hopefully everyone else will enjoy though! Thank you!
Received in the mail today. I'm struggling to keep up with all the book rings and rays that have come through my door but hopefully will get into it very shortly.
First a huge apology for not journalling this book earlier. Where has my brain been! We've had trouble with the computer/server/viruses over the past months but really, to forget to journal a book is just not cricket!
I enjoyed the book, it took a bit of getting into but the unfolding of the connection between Ash and La Motte interweaved with the budding relationship between Roland and Maud and the comical attempts to exclude Cropper and Blackadder all added up to a wonderful tale.
Could someone please tell me who it goes to next? I can't find my Surprise Ring list. Yes, I am that blonde, I'm afraid! It's all my hairdresser's fault, really it is!!!

Received today from Gembear; this is my last book in Bunnylady's surprise bookring I think (except mine which is still out there).
I have a couple of other books to read before this one, but will get to it soon.

Sorry, but I have been trying to read this book for a couple of months now and just can't get into it. I am therefore sending it back to AnglersRest to complete the Surprise bookring.
