"Yes, Prime Minister" is based on the show with the same title (which I faied to see, I'm afraid). Incapable politicians ware manipulated by croney and selfish Civil Service professionels. The morale could bbe interpreted as a bit Thatcherite.anti-state rhetorics, but it is well done and funny. Fine Brish humour. 9 out of ten. What do you think?

I haven't got around to reading this yet, unfortunately, but in anticipation of my moving to Düsseldorf soon, I have decided to seriously weed out Mount TBR. I hope somebody enjoys this and gives it a good home... and maybe it will come back to me again, later. :D

As good as the TV series. I have given the book to a friend who is another yes, minister/ prime minister fan.
