PS, it actually arrived on Friday July 2.

Just finished reading it. Definitely a page-turner, the kind of book I like to take on holiday to "switch off". There were parts I found a bit boring, for example, when we are taken back to Kate's past. I found those a bit repetitive. I also found it terribly gruesome and macabre. It reminded me of some James Patterson's thrillers... so much blood, such cruelty. Very different from European crime.
