I bought this book at a local charity shop. I have bookcrossed other books from this series; I think they're fun, quick, informative reads. I have a trivia-loving husband so it's fun to read these books with him, too.

I read through this quickly last night. I thought it was fun, as always with such books. I knew some of the trivia in this, but not all of it. I read a few things aloud to my dad and/or my husband. My dad laughed loudly at the one about the beavers and the CBC.

My husband and I are really busy tonight and tomorrow; we're going to Niagara Falls when he gets home from work tonight and spending the night there, crossing the border early in the morning and heading over to Lewiston quickly before spending the afternoon back on our own side of the border in Komoka (other side of London), having dinner in Mississauga, and being back home in Cambridge by bedtime! Throw in that big snowstorm southern ON is supposed to be getting, and it should be a pretty crazy Friday night/Saturday! I am hoping to leave this book somewhere in all our running around!

2019 has already been taking me to unexpected places; one of the unexpected place it took me today was Komoka, ON where I attended a baby shower for an old friend of my husband's. On our way out of town we pulled off the road to sort ourselves out (we needed to go straight from there to a dinner in Mississauga), and I left this book at Little Beaver Restaurant. We aren't from the area (although my husband grew up in St. Thomas, which is closer!) but we heard talk at the shower about Little Beaver; we'll have to check it out sometime if/when we're in the area with a little more time to spare! I left the book on a table in the vestibule that had a bunch of other free stuff to take (magazines, flyers, etc).
