I found this hardcover in this Little Free Library in Sleepy Hollow NY while dropping off some books of my own. It's the story, in rhyme, of pioneering African-American aviator Bessie Smith, who took up flying in the '20s and became the first licensed African-American aviator in the world. Her life ended too soon - that's included here as well - but should still inspire people to follow their dreams. [The book's by Reeve Lindbergh, daughter of Charles Lindbergh - an aviator of no small note himself - and Anne Morrow Lindbergh.]
