(BOOK IN FRENCH)
Je lis assez peu de romans de ce genre, et je découvre l'auteur avec celui-ci: une histoire touchante et troublante, celle d'un petit garçon solitaire et en mal d'amour, qui désespère de voir les adultes autour de lui lui donner enfin la famille, le foyer dont il rêve. On s'attache assez vite à cet enfant maladroit aux pensées dont l'aspect par moment dérangeant n'éclaire que mieux la souffrance. La fin apporte un éclairage nouveau à l'histoire... mais je n'en dirai pas plus ici.

Reading this book showed me how rusty my French still is! A touching story, both moving and horrfiic at times.

Un roman touchant, tout en tendresse et tristesse. Le final est surprenant et donne une deuxième lecture à cette histoire.
