Mattimeo
ISBN: 0380715309 Global Overview for this book
1 journaler for this copy...
Mattimeo is the young son of the warrior mouse Matthias - and he and his friends are stolen away from Redwall Abbey by Slagar the Fox!
Brian Jacques originally started writing his Redwall stories for children at The Royal School for the Blind in Liverpool, and the lavish descriptions and wonderful dialect used by his characters reflects that. I highly recommend the audio versions of these books, where you can hear the different animals speaking in accents from different parts of the UK.
This copy is from the 2018 Punahou Carnival. Here's another copy on my BookCrossing shelf.
